Ongoing communication reduces stress for both the patient and caregiver. The patient knows they are always able to request assistance from the caregiver. The caregiver is able to perform household tasks while remaining in communication with the patient.

The optional bed and chair sensor pads also may be used when wandering due to Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia is a concern. As soon as the patient exits the bed, the caregiver receives an alert.
